I live near Sacramento, Ca. I have been riding motorcycles since I was 14, with the first one being a Hodaka Combat Wombat. Since then I have owned somewhere around 10 bikes. I knew I wanted a GoldWing in the early '80's and was finally in a position to get one for my 40th birthday in 2002. I purchased a new Illusion Blue with ABS. I've done a fair amount of upgrades and modifications to my bike, and you can see some of these in the Galleries section. At first it was mostly light, aesthetic stuff. As I took the bike to my local dealer for general service, I grew more and more frustrated by their (lack of) quality of service and the way they treated my bike. Shortly after purchasing it, I found the Riders Rally forum and haven't looked back. On the forums I go by Snowman. That forum, coupled with Fred Harmon's maintenance DVD set has allowed me to perform all but the most technical service myself. I hope you enjoy the site. I had fun building it.
